I was installed as Pastor at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church on March 10th, 2024 and it is humbling to serve God’s people in this place. My hope and goal is always to tell people of Jesus Christ, and to share His gospel of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. God speaks to the brokenhearted and gives them wholeness and life - my passion is to proclaim His great and wonderful deeds and love for you. God has also been very generous to me, blessing me with a wonderful wife, Faith, and with a baby on the way. He truly is a very good God.
Janelle Rapson-Lach
Preschool Director/Teacher
I have served as director and lead teacher of the preschool since 2006. My greatest joy as a teacher is watching children as they mature through the year. The changes that take place are amazing. I'm truly blessed and love my job. I have been married to Alan Lach over 30 years; we have five grown children and two grand babies. My two dogs keep me on my toes.
Linda Benson

My name is Linda Benson. I have been in the working world as secretary and business start-ups in various roles, but am glad to have begun work at Cross of Christ in the Spring of 2024.
As a baptized, confirmed member of Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregations all my life, I am proud to be the Secretary of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church - LCMS.As a single mother, I raised 10 children, four of my own and six step-children, and now am the proud Grandma of 9 Grandchildren ages 33 down to 2 years of age. Also, Great Grandma of two, an 11- and 3-year-old. I have lived in South Lyon for 9 years and enjoy the area.

The Church Council is composed of members of the congregation who have been duly elected to serve as officers of the congregation in various roles and tasks. These officers are entrusted to serve and lead our congregation and meet regularly to report on their activities and discuss the current needs and goals of the congregation. The Council meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. You are welcome to attend the meetings or email the church office with any questions or comments you would like to have brought up before the Council.
